I’m a librarian with a holiday home in Le Marche, a beautiful, historic region that is sadly one of Italy’s best-kept secrets. It has a wealth of early printed books in its public libraries. Even a small comune of a few thousand inhabitants can boast two or three incunabula in its library. Fascinated by this treasure trove I started to explore it and wrote an article for the Cilip Rare Books newsletter 88, page 9
